PUBLIC PROTECTION (2021)
“The entirety of this project is to inform others on what it is like to be an African American in today’s era, shun the light on systemic racism that is still prevalent today, while also expressing my individualism and right to carry a firearm without being looked in a negative manner. I’m a 23-year-old black man in America, and I believe I should be able express the 2nd amendment in ways I deem fit with zero to minimal repercussions. In addition, I do believe that the current gun laws are outdated and should be strictly enforced so that shootings across America occur less.”
